Air Astana is all set to resume scheduled flights from Astana’s Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ) to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). The airline plans to deploy its Airbus A321LR on the twice daily route. Air Astana is already operating thrice weekly flights to Beijing from Almaty International Airport. The airline is planning to expand its capacity on this route with another weekly flight starting March 2, 2023. Air Astana carried more than 1.1 million passengers on its China route between 2002 and 2020 before it was suspended in March 2020 due to pandemic.
