Aer Lingus is using an Airbus A330 on its Manchester to New York route, meaning 72% more seats per flight. The switch from a single-aisle A321LR, which is being redeployed on the carrier’s routes from Dublin to Hartford and Cleveland, came around one year after the Irish flag carrier’s first direct flight to New York from Manchester.
