AA gets consecutive Dow Jones Sustainability Index rankings

American Airlines (AA) said on December 12 it was the sole passenger carrier to be listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the second year in a row. In a statement, the airline said its score on the index climbed by more than 20% since 2021, which said was “a strong recognition of the progress the airline has made toward reaching its environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals”.
