China Southern Airlines plans to open 70 new routes for the summer season that will consist of 50 domestic services and 20 international and regional services. China Southern plans to expand several new international routes to Southeast Asia and Africa. The airline will fly non-stop from Guangzhou to Nairobi from August, three flights a week, while it will also connect Guangzhou with Nha Trang in Vietnam, Sabah in Malaysia, Vientiane in Laos, and Ko Samui and Krabi in Thailand.
