Sunwing signs GE TrueChoice agreement for CFM56-7B engines

Sunwing Airlines signed an eight-year TrueChoiceTM Overhaul agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its CFM56-7B engines that power its nineteen Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The agreement is valued at more than $60 million (USD) over the life of the contract.

Through GE’s TrueChoice agreement, we will ensure Sunwings CFM56-7B engines receive high-quality OEM maintenance, repair and overhaul services to keep them flying long into the future,” said Jean Lydon-Rodgers, president and chief executive officer of GE Aviation’s Services organization.
