Lizard Squad threaten new attacks and Malaysia Airlines data release

Lizard Squad, the group behind the hack of Malaysia Airlines website, has threatened to release personal data found during the cyberattack on the carrier. In a statement, Malaysia Airlines said that all user data was secure after the cyberattack. It said that hackers had re-directed its site to a different URL, and not affected the site itself.

“Malaysia Airlines assures customers and clients that its website was not hacked and this temporary glitch does not affect their bookings and that user data remains secured,” it said.

However Lizard Squad posted that user data had been compromised and referred to an Imgur link that purported to show the hackers had access to private emails.
