Boeing announces major 737 order with China Eastern

Boeing has announced that China Eastern Airlines has committed to buy 80 B737s, including 737NG and 737 MAX aircraft.

When finalised, the order will be worth more than $8bn at current list prices.

Boeing VP of sales and marketing for NE Asia Ihssane Mounir said: “We look forward to making history with China Eastern as they are poised to make the largest purchase for single-aisle airplanes by a Chinese airline”.
