TANZANIA PRECISION AIR HANGER COMPLETION DELAYED
Although Precision Air’s $5.4 million hangar under construction at Julius Nyerere International Airport, is expected to be ready by the end of next month but airlines will have to wait before they use it because the Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has delayed construction of a taxiway to lead aircraft to the facility.
Precision Air founder and board chairman Michael Shirima said the company had made several reminders to TAA although the ministry has promised to work on the issue, saying it was important for the development of the country’s aviation industry.
