easyJet appoints new country director

Neil Slaven has been appointed as easyJet’s UK Country Director commencing March 1.

In his new role he is tasked with driving the strategic direction and commercial success of easyJet in the UK, which incorporates over 160 based aircraft, 18 airports and 11 bases.

Slaven has been with easyJet since 2011 in a variety of roles across network development, airport procurement as well as spending time overseeing easyJet’s commercial success in London. He will be working closing with the teams across the airline’s 11 UK bases and will report to Group Markets Director Thomas Haagensen.

“I am delighted to be working in this key role for easyJet,” said Slaven. “As the UK’s largest airline easyJet plays an important role in the UK aviation industry and I look forward to working with all our stakeholders as we continue to grow and invest in the UK.”
