2,000 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers & Technicians to be trained in Shannon

The Atlantic Aviation Institute, an EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) Part 147 approved subsidiary of Atlantic Aviation Group, has this week announced that they are to train over 2,000 national and international Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Technicians in Shannon over the next 10 years. The announcement comes as the Irish Aviation Authority granted approval to deliver EASA Part 66 Cat A1 training at the Atlantic Aviation Institute. The programme is a two-year traineeship which incorporates 9 months theory in the classroom, 3 months’ workshop followed by approximately 12 months practical training and experience.
