ENGINE SMOKE CAUSES KINGFISHER AIRCRAFT TO RETURN TO AIRPORT

A Madurai-bound Kingfisher Flight returned to Chennai airport after take-off when smoke came out of its engine. The aircraft landed safely and all passengers were evacuated and an investigation took place to determine the cause of the smoke. The flight was later cancelled.
