Bureau Veritas Certification has renewed the Single and Global Certification for Air France Industries (AFI), including the new ISO 26000 Social Responsibility standard. AFI is the first aviation maintenance company to adopt the new international standard. The certification includes nine major sets of guidelines in key areas such as quality, environmental protection and safety. Published in 150 countries, initiated 1 November 2010, ISO 26000 takes into account the application of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles in organizations.
