Virgin Atlantic expands London and Ghana flights

Virgin Atlantic is expanding its service between Ghana and London, due to increased demand over the winter period. An extra flight will run from December 11 to January 9, increasing Virgin Atlantic flights from London to Ghana to four times a week. The Ghana route has been one of the most successful route launches for the airline.

“I’m pleased to announce this addition to our Ghana services,” says Edmond Rose, director of commercial and revenue planning. “Our presence on this route has been key in bringing increased competition, providing real choice in schedule and product for the 200,000 passengers flying between London and Accra each year. We hope to increase frequency to four services a week permanently as soon as we can.”
