Southwest Airlines submits appeal over Love Field

Southwest Airlines has filed an appeal in a circuit court in New Orleans to overturn a ruling that allows Delta Air Lines to fly out of Love Field. The airline says it’s being harmed by the five flights a day Delta that flies out of Love, even with it running 180 daily flights from the airport. Southwest’s control of Love Field dates back to Five Party Agreement signed in 2006 which also precludes it from flying out of the larger DFW Airport.
