SOUTHWEST AD CAMPAIGN TARGETS RIVALS FEES

Southwest Airlines new ad campaign emphasizes the fact that the airline does not charge a fee for changing reservations. The new campaign echoes a recent ad promoting its free bag services.

Southwest allows customers to check in two bags for free, unlike its rival airlines who also all charge customers a penalty for changing their reservation. Charges in some cases can be up to $150 per change on domestic tickets for some airlines.
