QATAR AIRWAYS TAKES DELIVERY OF A NEW 777 AIRCRAFT

Qatar Airways has taken delivery of its 25th Boeing 777 aircraft at a ceremony at the aircraft manufacturer’s factory in Everett on Saturday. The ferry flight of the Boeing 777-300 Extended Range version arrived in the airline’s hub city of Doha after 16 hours’ of stop-stop journey, which included a voyage over the North Pole offering a breathtaking view of the ice-clad Arctic terrains on the top of the world. The new acquisition boosts Qatar Airways fleet size to 98 aircraft, two short of the 100th plane that the airline — which, on an average, takes delivery of 12 to
