NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICAN AIRLINES’ POST IMPRESSIVE TRAFFIC STATS FOR SEPTEMBER

JetBlue Airways preliminary traffic results for September 2010 are up 14.6% over a year ago, with a capacity increase of 10.4%. Load factor for September 2010 was 80.6%, an increase of three points from September 2009. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 98.8% and its on-time performance was 78.7%. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of September increased 10% year over year. SkyWest traffic also posts good stats for September with a 11% rise in traffic number and capacity also up sharply. Passenger-carrying capacity rose 10.5% to 1.99 billion available seat miles.
