Malindo Air seeking interline deals

Malindo Air chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy has revealed that the airline is in talks with two unnamed Middle-East airlines over new interline deals to add to the new arrangement it signed with Turkish Airlines last week to codeshare with the airline for its own passengers to fly beyond Asia. The airline is in talks with several other airlines and “our target is to have seven interline and code shares this year and by the end of the third quarter, we should have secured five” he said.

Aside from Emirates and THY, Saudia Airlines, Oman Air, Egypt Air, Iran Air, Iraqi Air, Kuwait Airways and Royal Jordanian all fly to Kuala Lumpur.
