Lufthansa cabin crew have begun another 24-hour nationwide strike, forcing Lufthansa to cancel 1,200 flights today and over this weekend. This amounts to around two-thirds of scheduled flights from late Thursday into the weekend. As mentioned already the unions are seeking a 5% pay increase for cabin crew and assurances on safeguarding jobs.
