LAN looking good

LAN Airlines has reported a 14.7% increase in bookings for March compared to the same month last year. The South American carrier grew 14% year on year for the quarter which is significant given the fact that load factors and capacity were both up. International passenger traffic for all of its South American operations increased 13.7%, while cargo grew 2.7%.The airline continues to expand, developing its Lima base –a more optimal geographic alternative to Santiago– into an intercontinental hub.
