China Southern Airlines has reported a drop of 4.8% in operating revenue to CNY28,420 million (USD4610 million) during the three months ended 30 September 2013. The carrier’s operating costs dipped by 3.8% to CNY25,927 million (USD4205 million), while its operating profit fell to CNY2734 million (USD443 million) – a drop of 14%. Total net profit for the airline was down 2.6% to CNY2158 million (USD350 million).
