Global air passengers are excepted to reach 9.4 billion passengers, exceeding 2019 levels by 2.5% in 2024, reported in Morningstar DBRS’ Airports Credit Outlook 2024. The report believes passenger traffic growth will normalise in most regions globally. “We believe global passenger traffic will continue to increase in 2024 but at a more moderate pace compared with 2021–23,” said DBRS Morningstar vice president Valiant Ip.
