Around 432,000 passengers are expected to fly in or out of Dublin Airport during the weekend following St. Patrick’s Day on March 17. With St. Patrick’s Day falling on a Friday, the three-day weekend is set to swell traffic for the holiday, which is meant to commemorate Ireland’s patron saint. Inbound traffic will be further pushed up by the closing of the Six Nations’ rugby championship as Ireland host England in Dublin on March 18, the airport authority said.
