Brussels Airport is set to close one of its main runways for renovation with work slated to last around six weeks. The airport will start renovating runway 25R/07L from 13 July to 23 August 2020, with the replacement of its upper asphalt surface and overhaul of lighting, cabling and drainage. Due to the closure of the runway, Brussels Airport will rejig its departure and arrival configurations, runway 19 is said to be scheduled to be used take-off and landing. The airport has said that the scheduled renovation will aim to extend the life of the runway by at least 15
