Turkish Airlines has launched new SmartMic devices at airports across Turkey, allowing non English-speaking passengers the opportunity to communicate with staff through a real-time translation service. A seven-inch screen on either side of the device allows staff and customers to follow the conversation, supporting 52 languages and 72 accents. “We are delighted to introduce this innovative SmartMic device, which allows our passengers to speak to our staff in their own language when transiting through Türkiye,” said Bilal Ekşi, Turkish Airlines CEO.
