Boeing has states that its sixth 787 flight test aircraft – the last test aircraft to join the 787 fleet – achieved first flight on Monday, operating a 1 hour 4 minute flight from Everett’s Paine Field to Boeing Field in Seattle. The sixth test plane is powered by GEnx-1B engines. It was intended to be the final test plane but Boeing will add another two aircraft to the test goup for ground and flight tests.
