Analysts have predicted that Boeing will announce an all-new replacement for the 737NG aircraft to late 2012 with launch in 2014. Buckingham Research had speculated that the US manufacturer would announce a new aircraft at the Paris air show but James Bell Boeing corporate president and CFO recently downplayed news it would soon launch a narrowbody replacement program. Buckingham has already stated that a re-engining of the 737NG is now unlikely and the aircraft maker will more likely offer the 737NG at low prices to counter competition from the A320neo. “We think Boeing will continue to raise 737NG production rates,”
