Following Airbus decision to re-engine its A320, Boeing has stated it will keep its options open on whether to re-engine its 737 aircraft. Meanwhile, suppliers have voiced concerned that Boeing are unlikely to deliver any 787 aircraft in 2011. The onboard fire during a test flight last month will impact on the delivery schedule in a few weeks, warned suppliers. “The outlook for 787 deliveries in 2011 does not look particularly strong,” said Amin Khoury, chairman and chief executive of aircraft interior supplier BE Aerospace.
