Boeing and Hainan Airlines yesterday celebrated the delivery of the carrier’s first 787-9. Hainan now becomes China’s first operator of both the 787-8 and 787-9 variants of the Dreamliner family. Hainan Airlines leased the airplane through Air Lease Corporation.
