Air China has received its second ARJ21 aircraft, which has been acquired by means of financial leasing from CNAC Beijing Financial Leasing Company. At the delivery ceremony, Wei Yingbiao, Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of COMAC, expressed that the growth of COMAC was inseparable from the strong support of airlines, and hoped that both sides would work hand in hand to jointly promote the development of the China-made civil aircraft. Since receiving its first aircraft in June 2020, Air China has used ARJ21 aircraft to open the routes of Beijing-Xilinhot and Beijing-Baotou.
