UK NATS Services, responsible for providing air traffic control services at many of the UK’s major airports (including civil and military sites) and overseas airports, has appointed a new airspace users director. Richard Ellis, who will lead the team in ‘delivering services and technology-based products to customers around the world’ (including drones, eVTOL operations and the development of high-altitude solutions) joins NATS from Altitude Angel, where he held the position of chief business officer.
