MAS to defend negligence case

Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysia government has until December 15 to reply to a negligence case filed against both of them over the disappearance of flight MH370 by two sons of businessman Jee Jing Hang, who was on board the missing jetliner.

This is the first law suit against the airline and the government relating to MH370.

Malaysia Airlines is charged with being negligent and failing to take all due safety measures, while the government is blamed for failing to establish contact within reasonable time after the flight disappeared from radar. They also alleged that the immigration department failed in its duties by allowing passengers with fake identities onto the plane.
