The European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG) has awarded CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines with the European service standard. The European service standard was awarded through the unanimous decision of the EEIG Board of Directors in January 2011. Azerbaijan Airlines, a member of the International Air Transport Association, is based at Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport, located 20 kilometers north-east of Baku. The airline flies to Europe, CIS, Middle East and Asia.
