RTX has announced the appointment of Fredric Reynolds as lead independent director, effective from 1 December 2023. Thanking outgoing lead independent director Dinesh Paliwal, RTX chairman and CEO Gregory Hayes noted Paliwal’s “contributions over the past three and a half years have been extremely helpful in establishing RTX as the world’s leading aerospace and defense company”. In addition to his duties as Lead Independent Director, Reynolds will continue to serve as chair of RTX’s Audit Committee and as a member of the Governance and Public Policy Committee.
