Based in Scotland in the north of the UK, pilot training firm ACS Aviation is to spend £2.2 million on eight aircraft. Two of the Tecnam P-Mentor planes are to arrive by summer 2023, with the remaining six to come over the following year and a half. Operating at Perth Airport, the company is training over 350 students to be pilots, with 120 set to graduate in 2023. “ACS have also hired additional members of staff to deal with the demand and are subsequently forecasting record revenues for 2023/24,” the company announced.
