Piedmont Airlines donates a Pratt & Whitney engine to aviation school

Piedmont Airlines donated a Pratt & Whitney PW120A turboprop engine to Delaware’s Polytech School of Aviation Maintenance (PSAM). The engine was used in a Piedmont Airlines de Haviland Aircraft of Canada Dash 8-100 between 1993 and 2017. The airline divested all of its Dash 8-300 in 2018 and hence donated the engine aiding the aspiring aviation engineers to train on a live PW120A turboprop engine.
