Barclays has hired aviation investment banker Josh Connor to oversee services for transportation companies worldwide. Connor be based in New York and will start in July. Connor was previously at Morgan Stanley for 15 years, most recently as co-head of the transportation and infrastructure group. He advised Continental Airlines on its merger with UAL Corp. last year and also worked on initial public offerings of JetBlue Airways and Ryanair Holdings. Connor will report to John Miller, head of industrials investment banking.
