Ex-CTO of Azul Carlos Naufel, re-joins Embraer as new VP, services and support

Carlos Naufel, current Technical Director of Azul Linhas Aéreas will join Embraer as the new vice president of services & support, effective on September 1, 2023. The present vice president, Johann Bordais, will assume the role of chief executive at Eve Air Mobility. Naufel has 27 years of experience in the aviation sector. He was with Azul for five years leading a team of over 2,000 employees and looking over the airline’s maintenance and engineering departments along with quality and logistics. This year he was assigned an additional responsibility of Azul TecOps, a new business unit created to sell services.
