Emerald Airlines, Ireland’s newest carrier, has named former Aer Lingus executive Keith Butler as its incoming chief executive. Butler’s appointment will take effect from March 2023. He will succeed founder Conor McCarthy, who in turn will operate as executive chairman of the airline, which operates regional flights for Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus. “With over 15 years in the aviation industry, Butler brings a wealth of experience to Emerald Airlines”, the carrier said in a statement. “From his most recent role leading CAE Parc Aviation over the last 5 years in aviation-related activity, to his long-standing journey with Aer Lingus,
