Julian Carr, formerly with MyTravel, IATA and bmibaby, has been appointed managing director of Irish regional airline Stobart Air. Sean Brogan, currently interim MD, has been made chairman. Carr will assume his new role May 6. Stobart Air has also appointed former Monarch Airlines managing director Tim Jeans and international finance and investment consultant Yvonne Denney as non-executive directors.
