Air Canada has announced the transfer of Jon Turner from vice president, inflight services to vice president, cargo. Turner, described as “an accomplished airline executive with expertise in global strategy, operations and customer service”, will start his new job in mid-February, the Canadian flag carrier said, Turner’s elevation comes after he worked in a “wide range of progressively critical, senior leadership roles” at Air Canada and other Canadian airlines, including Sky Regional and Air Transat.
