Afrieximbank appointment

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has appointed Gwen Mwaba as its new Director of Trade Finance. She takes over the position from Kanayo Awani who was recently appointed Managing Director, Intra-African Trade Initiative. Until her appointment, Ms. Mwaba was the Regional Manager for Anglophone West Africa in charge of Afreximbank’s Abuja Branch Office, a position she held since May 2015.
