StandardAero has received an Authorized Maintenance Center (AMC) licence from Rolls-Royce, allowing the company to repair and overhaul T56 Series IV engines including the T56-A-427 and T56-A-427A. Although StandardAero’s MRO facility in San Antonio has been performing overhauls on the T56 Series IV since their first induction in 2018, this new license allows StandardAero to provide repair support for these engines to any global customer. To date, StandardAero has successfully overhauled over 127 of these engines. The engines are used to power the Northrop Grumman E-2C Hawkeye and Advanced Hawkeye airborne early warning platforms in services with the US navy.
