Oliver Wyman purchased UK-based AVISA Aviation Safety Systems on September 1 to expand its European aviation technical services. The company did not disclose the acquisition price or terms. AVISA provides aviation consultancy, training and airworthiness management services and holds EASA Part M subpart G (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization), EASA Part M subpart I (Airworthiness Review Certificate), Part 145 (maintenance) and Part 147 (training). The company, founded in 2004, will be integrated in Cavok, Oliver Wyman’s aviation services technical consulting division and will be based near London Gatwick airport.
