Embraer’s maintenance wing in deal with American Airlines subsidiary

Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS) is to do airframe maintenance and repairs for American Airlines-owned carrier Envoy and for JSX, a “hop-on jet service”. The deals, worth a combined US $72 million, were announced on December 16 by the Brazilian manufacturer’s US-based maintenance division, which described them as “mutually beneficial for our partners as we can provide exceptional service while expanding our operations.”
