MTU Maintenance Lease Services, a subsidiary of German aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero Engines, is enhancing its existing services through a cooperation with Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer Aviation International. A new service was created and foresees the provision of spare lease engines and lease engine support services to Embraer’s E-jet operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. According to the agreement, MTU Maintenance Lease Services will act as Embraer’s recognised supplier of CF34-10E lease engines and lease support services. “More and more operators are demanding guaranteed spare engine availability to ensure uninterrupted flight operations,” said Martin Friis-Petersen, Managing Director
