Chinese low-cost carrier Colorful Guizhou Airlines has signed a 12-year maintenance support contract with CFM International, worth approximately $1 billion at list price. The agreement will cover maintenance for the Leap-1A engines, and will cover engines on up to 35 aircraft, the airline will operate under the Rate-Per-Flight-Hour (RPFH) agreement, as well as five spare engines.
