The Shanghai Engine Center, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and China Eastern, recently received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the maintenance of Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.  The Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Service team in Dallas had trained the technicians at Shanghai Engine Centre for more immediate in-region care for Asia-Pacific-based GTF and V2500 engine customers.
