With the announcement of the historic aircraft order of Air India, Boeing India has upped its game and decided to make deep inroads in the country. Boeing is planning to invest approximately $24 million in India to set up India Logistics Center. The new facility will provide easier and faster spare parts access to airlines to help improve airframe production and aircraft availability. Boeing claims that the new centre will be an ecosystem of comprehensive support with maintenance capabilities and help in reducing flight cancellations or grounding due to maintenance issues.
