Air India Express 737-800 aircraft arriving from Vijaywada overshot the runway yesterday while landing at Mumbai airport in heavy rain. The Boeing 737-800 aircraft stopped 10 feet beyond the end of the runway on the paved stopway, an Air India Express spokesperson said. All passengers were safe and there was no damage to either the aircraft or the runway and the aircraft taxied on its own power to the parking bay, the airline confirmed.
